Scioto Valley Women's Rugby Football Club was established in 2001 in Columbus, OH. We play competitive, hard-hitting rugby and have competitive, hard-hitting fun afterward. We play in the Midwest Rugby Union in Division II.
We have fall and spring seasons. During our season, we practice every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm and have games every Saturday. We play teams from across the Midwest and occasionally the nation. We won our division in 2006, 2007, and 2009, and were the national runners-up in 2007.
We welcome women of all ages and all experience levels. We love to teach people how to play rugby. Maybe you can teach us something new, too. We doubt it, but you're welcome to try.
All practices and games are at Rhodes Park in Columbus, Ohio.
Scioto is pronounced "sigh-OH-tah." Don't ask us why.
